Our Special X-rays is an innovative animation educational resource created by patients attending Alder Hey Oncology Unit to support other children and young people undergoing radiotherapy treatment. The project was delivered over ten months and involved patients developing all aspects of the animation which included storyboards, set,prop and character design, filming on the oncology unit and audio design and voice overs. This animation shows the creativity of all involved. and can become an effective tool in educating others to the process of radiotherapy.
